It took a little pushing and shoving – a shout-out to the team at Integrated Mechanical Services Inc. of Stratford, ON for a great job! – but at the end, a brand new Okuma LB4000 lathe with its 1500 mm extended bed fit perfectly into its new home at Little Lakes Machine & Tool Co. Once the hydraulic chuck and the steady rest have been installed in a couple of weeks, the machine will add needed turning capacity to reduce “turn-around time” and help us serve our customers even faster.
